Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce Degree (University of Pretoria, 1999); Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (CFP) (correspondence via the University of the Free State, 2001); Honours Degree in Environmental Management (Unisa, 2012)

Jo-Anne is an accomplished and experienced professional with more than 20 years of experience relating to financial management, project implementation and management and B-BBEE consulting.

Jo-Anne founded Human Nature Consulting in 2014. Work undertaken has evolved to include consulting services in respect of impact funding for non-profits and social enterprises, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, optimising entity structures to maximise funding sources, project management, skills development, enterprise development and creating business networks.

Some of the most satisfying projects have seen collaborations form that leverage on the impact of non-profits, social enterprises and SMEs. When this happens, support provided by donors has a multiplier effect.

There is potential in abundance in South Africa. We have no doubt about that. What we want to do is to ensure that potential is released through networking, collaboration and effective, transparent allocation of resources.
